Dream Girl is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa in his directorial debut and produced by Ekta Kapoor. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana as a cross-gender actor whose female voice impersonation begets attention from others, talking about depression and loneliness. Released on 13 September 2019, Dream Girl was a major critical and commercial success, entering the 100 Crore Club in India. It grossed ₹148 crore net in India and over ₹200 crore (US$21 million) worldwide, becoming one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2019 and Khurrana's highest-grossing film in India.
