Film tersebut diadaptasi dari karya pemenang Nobel Kesusastraan Kawabata Yasunari yang berjudul Soshiki no Meijin (The Master of the Funerals). Film tersebut dibintangi oleh Koura Kengo dan Maeda Atsuko. Film tersebut mengisahkan tentang seorang ibu tunggal bernama Watanabe Yukiko yang datang ke pemakaman mantan teman sekelasnya.
