How it feels
A Latvian sci-fi drama about an IT specialist who creates an artificial intelligence based on her deceased partner's consciousness. She struggles between living in the virtual world she built and letting go to share the technology with the world. Her colleague who cares for her must decide whether to delete the AI or sacrifice his own feelings.

What happens
"TUR" ir latviešu režisora Ulda Cipsta 2019. gadā uzņemta zinātniskās fantastikas drāmas filma. Tā stāsta par informācijas tehnoloģiju speciālisti Gundegu (Ilva Centere), kas, zaudējusi mīļoto, rada mākslīgo intelektu ar bojāgājušā drauga Raimonda (Regnārs Vaivars) apziņu. Gundega nespēj izšķirties, vai gremdēties virtuālajā realitātē, vai, savas jūtas ignorējot, sniegt pasaulei brīnumu. Gundegas kolēģim Ērikam (Artūrs Skrastiņš), kurš lolo siltas jūtas pret ģeniālo datorspeciālisti, nāksies izlemt, vai dzēst Raimonda personību no programmas, vai arī upurēt savas jūtas. Filma citē un atsaucas uz virkni godalgotu zinātniskās fantastikas kinodarbu — tādiem kā fantastikas žanra klasiku "Matrikss" (1999), "Geimeris" (2009) un pilnmetrāžas filmu ar aktieri Džoniju Depu galvenajā lomā — zinātniskās fantastikas trilleri "Transcendence". Filma TUR ir daļa no desmit sēriju miniseriāla ar tādu pašu nosaukumu, kas tiks izrādīts mājas viedtelevīzijā no 2019. gada septembra beigām. Filmas režisors Uldis Cipsts līdz šai filmai nebija veidojis pilnmetrāžas kinofilmas, savukārt pati filma ir pirmais mēģinājums Latvijā radīt zinātniskās fantastikas žanra kinodarbu.
