The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

What happens

Rick and Morty: The Anime (Japanese: リック・アンド・モーティ:アニメ, Hepburn: Rikku Ando mōti: Anime) is an adult animated science fiction sitcom television series created, written and directed by Takashi Sano, produced by Sola Entertainment and animated by Telecom Animation Film for Cartoon Network's nighttime programming block Adult Swim. The third series in the franchise, based on the American animated series of the same name by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, set between the fifth and sixth seasons of the main series, it stars Yōhei Tadano as Rick Sanchez and Keisuke Chiba as Morty Smith, reprising their roles from the Japanese dub of the original series. None of the cast of the English version of the original series reprise their roles for its English dub. Following five short films that premiered on Adult Swim and subsequently released onto its official YouTube account from March 29, 2020, to November 12, 2021, the series itself aired on the network from August 16 to October 18, 2024. Both the shorts and series received mixed reviews from critics, with the former getting somewhat more favorable reactions. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
