Purple Hearts is a 2022 American romantic drama film created for Netflix and directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum. It is based upon the novel of the same name by Tess Wakefield. It stars Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine. Polar opposites Cassie and Luke, she a pacifist and he a Marine, enter into a marriage of convenience, as she needs full health insurance for her diabetes and he needs the extra money soldiers receive for being married to pay a debt.
