Story Ave is a 2023 American drama film directed by Aristotle Torres from a script by Torres and Bonsu Thompson, produced by Torres and Jamie Foxx, and starring Asante Blackk, Luis Guzmán, Melvin Gregg and Alex R. Hibbert. It is based on Torres's 2018 short film of the same name, which in turn was based on a true story. Story Ave had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 11, 2023. It was released by Kino Lorber in select cinemas on September 29, 2023. At the 55th NAACP Image Awards the film was nominated for Outstanding Independent Motion Picture. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
