It is based on the true story of domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh, the perpetrator of the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. McVeigh is played by Alfie Allen. The film premiered at the Tribeca Festival on June 7, 2024. It was released on digital platforms and in theaters on March 21, 2025. Filming took place in Northern Kentucky.
