The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this film is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

In the 1970s, a runaway teenage orphan becomes infatuated with an actress who is playing the Snow Queen in a film adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale. The orphan's fascination grows as she enters the actress's world, mixing reality with the fantasy of the film they are making.

The cast also includes August Diehl and Gaspar Noé in supporting roles. A co-production between France, Germany and Italy, the film had its world premiere at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival on 16 February 2025, where it won the Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution.
