What happens
La disciplina del silencio es una película peruana de 2025 del género de drama basada en la soledad. Dirigido, coproducido y escrito por Jorge Luis Chamorro, el filme relata tres historias: el caso de una mujer de más de cuarenta años que afronta la maternidad de forma independiente, una joven que ejerce su autonomía en el ámbito sexual, y un personaje que mantiene una doble vida que contrata a una joven de estética post punk para el cuidado de su hijo. Los papeles protagonistas son interpretados por Katerina D’Onofrio, Gisela Kundmüller, Lita Baluarte y Yamile Caparó. El rodaje de la película tuvo lugar en Lima, Perú, durante 35 días en el año 2024. Chamorro empleó planos aéreos y tomas internas para conferir a la ciudad un carácter íntimo y contenido, lo cual acentúa la soledad de las protagonistas. La banda sonora incluye temas de rock peruano de artistas como Electro-Z y Dolores Delirio, cumpliendo una función narrativa y emocional clave en la obra.
