What happens

Gorgonà es una película griega, ópera prima de la cineasta y artista visual Evi Kalogiropoulou estrenada en 2025. La película se ambienta en una pequeña y pobre ciudad-estado en Grecia, dominada por una gigantesca refinería de petróleo. En este lugar distópico, los hombres armados ostentan el poder absoluto. Su líder Nikos (Christos Loulis) está gravemente enfermo y debe organizar su sucesión causando la conmoción al considerar la inclusión entre los candidatos de su protegida, María (Melissanthi Mahut).
