What happens
Kaprálová je dokumentární film scenáristy a režiséra Petra Záruby z roku 2025. Film popisuje poslední tři roky života nadané skladatelky a dirigentky Vítězslavy Kaprálové v Paříži. Kaprálová odcestovala do Paříže v roce 1937, kde studovala nejprve u Bohuslava Martinů a později na École Normale de Musique de Paris. Je použito několik málo dochovaných amatérských filmových záběrů. Dále jsou použity záběry ze zkoušek umělců a orchestrů, které zkoušejí skladby Vítězslavy Kaprálové. Antonie Martinec Formanová čte z dopisů, které Vítězslava psala domů do Brna rodičům. Film je dlouhý 70 minut. Festivalová premiéra proběhla v Jihlavě na Mezinárodním festivalu dokumentárních filmů Ji.hlava dne 26. října 2025. Oficiální premiéra byla dne 12. února 2026. Producenty filmu byly společnost CINEPOINT a Česká televize. Vznik filmu podpořili: Státní fond audiovize, Jihomoravský filmový nadační fond, Ministerstvo kultury České republiky, Národní plán obnovy, Evropské unie – Next Generation EU (European Union’s National Recovery Plan program), The Kapralova Society (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
