Le titre est une parodie de l'expression « Dark Side of the Moon » (« la face cachée de la Lune ») rendue célèbre par l'album des Pink Floyd, le mot « Dark » (littéralement « sombre », mais dans ce contexte « cachée ») étant remplacé par « Shark » (« requin »).
