This is an Italian television adaptation of Emily Bronte's novel Wuthering Heights. It was broadcast in four parts in 1956 on Rai, in black and white. The story follows the intense and destructive relationship between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw on the Yorkshire moors.

Tratto dall'omonimo romanzo di Emily Brontë (Wuthering Heights il titolo originale in lingua inglese del lavoro letterario) e girato in bianco e nero, fu trasmesso sul Programma Nazionale in quattro puntate, la domenica sera alle ore 21, dal 12 febbraio al 4 marzo.
