Tony Stark is a wealthy weapons designer and ladies man. After an explosion during the Vietnam War injures him, he builds a suit of armor to save his life. He then uses the armor to fight crime as Iron Man.

Rautamies (engl. Invincible Iron Man) on yhdysvaltalainen animaatiosarja, joka esitettiin vuonna 1966. Sarja kesti 13 jakson verran ja se julkaistiin myös DVD:llä Suomessa. Sarja kertoo Rautamiehen seikkailuista, kun naistenmies ja aseiden suunnittelija Tony Stark rikastuu hallitukselle suunnittelemiensa aseiden myötä. Vietnamin sodan aikana hän loukkaantui räjähdyksessä, jossa sirpale lensi hänen rintansa läpi lähelle sydäntä. Stark onnistui suunnittelemaan itselleen teräshaarniskan, jonka avulla hänen elämänsä pelastui. Myöhemmin Stark ryhtyi supersankariksi kehitetyn teräshaarniskan avulla. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
