This is a Norwegian advent calendar series for children from 1970. It follows a grandfather figure named Didrik and was created in partnership with the Red Cross to raise money for children in need. The show was the first Christmas calendar ever broadcast on Norwegian television.

Barnas førjulskalender 1970 er tittelen på en norsk julekalender for barn som gikk på NRK Barne-TV i 1970. Dette var den første julekalenderen som gikk på norsk TV. William Nyrén som bestefar Didrik Manuskript: Anne-Cath. Vestly Regi: Bo Wærenskjold Serien ble utgitt av Norges Røde Kors og NRK i fellesskap. I tiden 1. november til 12. desember ble det lagt ut postgiroinnbetalingskort på samtlige poststeder i Norge. Disse gjaldt som bestillingskort for kalenderen.
