Фильм-сказка — «фэнтези с восточным колоритом»Кинематограф Туркменистана и ВГИК / Владимир Малышев на тему восточного фольклора по мотивам новелл Вашингтона Ирвинга. Еще ребёнком принц Ахмет был заточён в замок властолюбивым, но изнеженным и трусливым Султаном и его подлым доносчиком и завистником Визирем.
