Vest in pločevina je slovenska barvna kriminalistična TV nanizanka iz leta 1973. Predvajala se je od 28. marca 1974 na prvem programu TV Ljubljana. Primere razrešuje inšpektor Vlado Pegan (Boris Cavazza) s svojim pomočnikom, komandirjem Nikom Maroltom (Dare Valič). Zgodbam je skupen beg povzročitelja prometne nesreče. Vitomil Zupan je scenarij napisal pod naslovom Vest in pločevina ali Pobegli vozniki.
