Capitaine Flam (キャプテン・フューチャー, Kyaputen Fyūchā, litt. Captain Future) est une série télévisée d'animation japonaise produite par le studio Toei Animation. C'est aussi le titre et le nom du héros principal de cette série. Il s'agit de l'adaptation de la série de romans Capitaine Futur d'Edmond Hamilton. Au Québec, la série a été diffusée à partir du 7 septembre 1980 sur le réseau TVA, et en France à partir du 7 janvier 1981 sur TF1 dans Les Visiteurs du mercredi. En Belgique, elle est diffusée [Quand ?] dans l'émission Lollipop. Elle a aussi été diffusée sur Télé Monte-Carlo en 1984 dans l'émission Télé Monte Cartoon. Fondée sur une collection de romans de space opera du Capitaine Futur écrits dans les années 1940 par l'auteur Edmond Hamilton, la série réunit treize histoires indépendantes, découpées chacune en quatre épisodes de vingt-deux minutes. Cette adaptation des écrits de Hamilton reprend deux éléments-clés des romans : des explications scientifiques didactiques et la supériorité de l'esprit sur la force brute.
