《땅》은 MBC에서 1991년 1월 6일부터 1991년 4월 28일까지 방영한 대하드라마로, 경제개발이 한창 진행되던 1960년대부터 1980년대까지를 배경으로 한 경제 드라마이다. 이 드라마는 당초 1991년 12월까지 50부작으로 방송될 예정이었으나 16부작으로 조기 종영되었는데, 1991년 4월 무렵 드라마의 중단 사태와 진행자가 교체되는 일이 발생하면서 조기 종영을 하자 외압 의혹을 받았다. 또한 첫 회에서 백담사에서 전두환 전 대통령 부부가 찾아온 신도들에게 연설하는 것을 시작으로, 3당 통합, 국회의 법안 날치기 통과 모습, 남북 총리회담, 노태우 대통령의 모스크바 방문, 전두환 전 대통령의 하산 등 그 당시 실제 뉴스 화면과 과감한 구성으로 화제를 불러일으키며 시청률 41.14%를 기록하였다. 참고로, MBC 프로덕션의 첫 작품으로 제작된 드라마이다.
