《大巡按蕃薯官》是一部台灣古裝鄉土劇，由中國電視公司與明華園合作製播，是明華園第一部電視劇作品，由明華園當家丑角陳勝在主演1996年10月17日定裝，1996年10月21日開鏡，接檔綜藝節目《歡樂傳真》，11月6日中視舉行試片會，11月9日於中視頻道週六午間時段《明華園劇場》首播。 《大巡按蕃薯官》收視率高於臺灣電視公司週六午間時段長壽節目《中國民間故事》，而且《中國民間故事》內容出現老態且製作費偏高而被台視檢討，1997年《中國民間故事》停播、《中國怪譚》接檔。 霹靂台灣台與中視經典台曾經重播《大巡按蕃薯官》，非首播完整版。 (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
