Becker is an American television sitcom created by Dave Hackel that aired on CBS for six seasons from November 2, 1998, to January 28, 2004, with a total of 129 episodes. Produced by Dave Hackel Productions and Industry Entertainment in association with Paramount Television, the show is set in the New York City borough of the Bronx, and stars Ted Danson as the title character, John Becker, a misanthropic doctor who operates a small practice and is constantly annoyed by his patients, co-workers, and friends, and practically everything and everybody else in his world.
