Serial ini disutradarai oleh Sony Gaokasak, Bambang Dipo Ari dan Ron Widodo serta dibintangi oleh Reza Mahendra, Zee Zee Shahab, dan Lia Waode. Pada mulanya sinetron Luv tayang hari Rabu jam 3 siang dengan segmen anak-anak. Karena berkaca pada tren sinetron remaja, sekaligus karena para pemainnya mulai beranjak remaja, Luv pindah tayang di malam hari menjadi Selasa pukul 19:00 WIB pada April 2002.
