The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this series is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

How it feels

This Russian music competition series searched for a national singing star. Contestants performed songs each week and were judged on their talent. The show followed the format of the British series Pop Idol.

What happens

People's Artist (Russian: Народный Артист, romanized: Narodny Artist) was a Russian music competition television series, based on the popular British reality television series Pop Idol. It was produced by RTR in association with FBI Music and FremantleMedia. Season 1 and 2 were hosted by Fyokla Tolstaya and Ivan Urgant. People's Artist remains today the only Idol series to feature miming in their "best of" show (Финальный Концерт final'niy kontsert) where none of the contestants sang live.
