The Unicorn in the Garden (also known as A Unicorn in the Garden) is a 1953 American United Productions of America (UPA) cartoon directed by William Hurtz. The cartoon is based on the 1939 short story with the same name by James Thurber. It was released on September 24, 1953. In 1955, it was nominated for Best Animated Film at the British Academy Film Awards. In 1994, it was voted #48 of the 50 Greatest Cartoons of all time by a group of 1000 cartoon historians, animation professionals and film critics. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
