Paraíso Tropical (English: Tropical Paradise) is a Brazilian primetime telenovela that was produced and broadcast by TV Globo from 5 March and 28 September 2007, with 179 episodes. Written by Gilberto Braga and Ricardo Linhares and directed by Dennis Carvalho. Starring Alessandra Negrini, Fábio Assunção, Glória Pires, Tony Ramos, Wagner Moura and Camila Pitanga in the leading roles.
