Preceduto dall'omonimo film Honey and Clover, è la trasposizione del popolare manga (e poi anime) di Chika Umino Honey and Clover. La vicenda non si discosta molto dall'opera originale; segue la storia di un gruppo di giovani allievi d'una scuola d'arte, le loro avventure ma anche e soprattutto i loro sentimenti ed emozioni.
