How it feels
In this Finnish reality series, host Kristiina Komulainen oversees home renovations for ordinary people. A crew has 48 hours to remodel a home, and the budget comes from how much stuff the owner agrees to give away. Donated items go to a recycling center while trash goes to a landfill.

What happens
Luukusta lukaali oli tv-ohjelma, jossa kunnostettiin tavallisten ihmisten koteja. Ohjelmaa juonsi Kristiina Komulainen. Ohjelmassa remonttimiehille annettiin 48 tuntia aikaa remontoida jonkun koti. Remonttibudjetti perustui siihen, kuinka suuresta määrästä tavaraa talon omistaja suostui luopumaan. Luovutettu tavara vietiin lavalle, joka on jaettu kahteen osaan: vasemmalle ehjät tavarat ja oikealle rikkinäiset tavarat ja purkujätteet. Ehjät tavarat menivät kierrätyskeskukseen, rikkinäiset tavarat ja purkujätteet kaatopaikalle. Remonttibudjetissa 10 euroa vastasi yhtä kilogrammaa lavalle vietyä tavaraa ja jätettä.
