This is a Spanish Australian animated series that tells a different fairy tale or myth in each short episode. A narrator tells the story using different voices for the characters. The tales come from many cultures including well known Western folktales as well as stories from other parts of the world.

Sagenhaft: Märchen aus aller Welt ist eine spanisch-australische Zeichentrickserie aus den Jahren 2008 bis 2009. In fünfminütigen Folgen erzählt ein Off-Sprecher – im Deutschen Bastian Pastewka – in verteilten Rollen ein Märchen oder eine Sage. Dies sind überwiegend bekannte westliche Volksmärchen, aber auch Volksmärchen anderer Kulturen, Kunstmärchen und Stoffe aus klassischen Mythologien und Sagen. Die Erstausstrahlung in Australien fand auf ABC Kids am 12. August 2008 statt. Die deutsche Fassung entstand im Auftrag des NDR durch Studio Hamburg Synchron GmbH und wurde Herbst 2012 im KiKa erstausgestrahlt. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
