کیمیاگر یک مجموعه تلویزیونی به کارگردانی و نویسندگی محمدرضا ورزی محصول سال ۱۳۸٧ است. محمد بن زکریای رازی پس از درگیری خانوادگی، پدرش او را به بغداد میفرستد و پس از سالها درس خواندن پزشکی هوشمند میشود و به ری برمیگردد. او به کمک فرمانروای سامانی بیمارستانی در ری پایهگذاری میکند و به درمان بیماران میپردازد. سپس از راه دانش شیمی که در گذشته به آن کیمیاگری میگفتند داروهای گوناگون و بسیاری را میسازد و با آن بیماریهای مردم را درمان میکند و با پژوهشهای فراوان الکل را به دست میآورد و سرآمد پزشکان دورهٔ خویش میشود.
