Die Handlung des Fernsehformates besteht darin, dass die beiden im Ruhrpott verwurzelten Protagonisten – Sidney Hoffmann und Jean Pierre Kraemer – im Auftrag eines Kunden einen bestimmten Autotyp auf dem Gebrauchtwagen-Markt finden und ggf. tunen.
