『新世界より』（しんせかいより）は、貴志祐介による日本の小説。2008年1月に講談社より出版された。2011年に講談社文庫で文庫化された。 1000年後の日本。人類は「呪力」と呼ばれる超能力を身に着けていた。 注連縄に囲まれた自然豊かな集落「神栖66町」では、人々はバケネズミと呼ばれる生物を使役し、平和な生活を送っていた。その町に生まれた12歳の少女・渡辺早季は、同級生たちと町の外へ出かけ、先史文明が遺した図書館の自走型端末「ミノシロモドキ」と出会う。そこから彼女たちは、1000年前の文明が崩壊した理由と、現在に至るまでの歴史を知ってしまう。 禁断の知識を得て、早季たちを取り巻く仮初めの平和は少しずつ歪んでいく。 (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
