Malaika is een Nederlandse soapserie waarvan het eerste seizoen werd uitgezonden van 25 maart 2013 tot en met 31 mei 2013, door de commerciële televisiezender RTL 5. De serie gaat over het wel en wee van het personeel en patiënten in het zorgcentrum Malaika. RTL liet weten dat de soapserie niet terugkeerde voor een tweede seizoen. Er was een tekort aan financiering om de laatste vijftig afleveringen, van de in totaal honderd afleveringen die zijn opgenomen, alsnog uit te zenden. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
