È liberamente ispirata alla vita di don Giuseppe Diana, il presbitero assassinato dalla camorra a Casal di Principe nel 1994. Il titolo della miniserie prende il nome dal documento scritto contro la camorra da don Diana insieme ai sacerdoti della forania di Casal di Principe e distribuito nel Natale del 1991 in tutte le chiese locali. Di produzione integralmente italiana, la miniserie è stata trasmessa in prima visione su Rai 1 tra il 18 e il 19 marzo 2014, in occasione del ventesimo anniversario della sua morte.
