11.22.63 is an American science fiction thriller television miniseries based on the 2011 novel 11/22/63 by Stephen King, and consisting of eight episodes, in which a time traveler (portrayed by James Franco) attempts to stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The series was developed by Bridget Carpenter, who also executive produced along with J. J. Abrams, King, and Bryan Burk.
