Het is een productie van Geoffrey Enthoven en Mariano Vanhoof voor productiehuis Fobic Films. De sitcom is een bewerking door Lenny Van Wesemael van een Deens format, Bedre skilt end aldrig (Splitting Up Together), van Mette Heeno.
