The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this series is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

What happens

Ballmastrz: 9009 (ボールマスターズ: 9009) is an adult animated sitcom created by Christy Karacas for Cartoon Network's nighttime programming block Adult Swim. The series stars actress Natasha Lyonne as the voice of Gaz Digzy, an athletic superstar in a dystopian future where humanity is satiated by a violent sport simply known as "The Game". The series is characterized by anime-style iconography, dark humor, and shock value. The show premiered on April 9, 2018. In July 2019, the show was renewed for a second season, which premiered on February 24, 2020. A special titled Ballmastrz: Rubicon aired on February 20, 2023. The special has a substantially higher quality animation style than the series, due to Studio 4°C's involvement; it is meant to serve as a fork possibly leading to future seasons. As of October 2023, no new episodes are in development at Adult Swim, though plans may change in the future. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
