La miniserie è tratta dal romanzo Le libere donne di Magliano di Mario Tobino (pubblicato da Mondadori Libri) e vede come protagonisti Lino Guanciale, Grace Kicaj, Gaia Messerklinger e Fabrizio Biggio. È ambientata all’interno dell’ex ospedale psichiatrico di Maggiano e racconta le vicende di alcune donne ricoverate nella struttura, esplorando le loro storie personali, le fragilità e il desiderio di libertà in un contesto segnato da regole rigide e stigma sociale.
