Sarjassa joka viikko neljä julkkista kokoontuu vuorotellen toistensa mökille tai muuhun vapaa-ajanviettopaikkaan, jossa paikan isäntä tai emäntä varannut muille julkkiksille talkootöitä. Jokaisen jakson lopussa jakson isäntä tai emäntä palkitsee palkinnolla sen, joka on saanut aikaan parhaimman työpanoksen, ja jokaisen viikon päätösjaksossa palkitaan myös koko viikon paras talkoolainen.
