Christmas with Delta

The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this series is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

What happens

Christmas with Delta is an annual Christmas special starring Delta Goodrem which originally premiered on the Nine Network on 12 December 2020 to promote her Christmas album Only Santa Knows (2020). Upon announcement in November 2020, Goodrem said "From drought to bushfires, floods and a global pandemic, 2020 has truly been a tough year for Aussies but it has not broken our spirit. Christmas holds a very special place in my heart, and I can't wait to celebrate our great nation's resilience through music and giving something back to the community during this holiday season." Originally scheduled as a one-off, the special returned in 2021, 2022 and 2023, at various locations around Sydney. In 2024, the special was recorded in Hollywood, USA. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
