What happens

Scholastic Scrimmage is the title of several televised quiz bowl programs featuring high school students in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. In each program, two teams of four players from Pennsylvania high schools field questions on a diverse range of academic subjects and score points with correct answers. The winners of each game advance in a competitive, season-long tournament. The original began production in 1975 at WLVT-TV in the Lehigh Valley. A total of four versions have been produced by different public TV stations in Pennsylvania, with three in active production. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
