The 3D catalogue: film cases on wooden shelves, with the cat sitting at the counter next to its greeting.

The catalogue in 3D

The film shelves have a room of their own that you can walk around in. The cat behind the counter is the AI Catbot, and they pick real films from the same catalogue when you tell them what you feel like watching. Nothing is for sale, here or in there. Go in from here and this series is already out on the counter, with more like it waiting on the shelf next to it.

What happens

I Am the Actor (simplified Chinese: 我就是演员; traditional Chinese: 我就是演員) is a Chinese variety program produced by Zhejiang Television. The show is hosted by Zhang Guoli and Yi Yi, and features Wu Xiubo, Xu Zheng and Zhang Ziyi as mentors. The first season of the show was called Birth of Performers, and Zhejiang TV renamed the show as I Am the Actor in the second season, which began airing in September 2018. After becoming a hit in China, Zhejiang TV formed a partnership in November 2018 with the American company IOI (founded by Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky) to co-produce an English version of the show for the global audience.
