『夢千代日記』（ゆめちよにっき）は、NHKの『ドラマ人間模様』で放送された3部作のテレビドラマである。 社会や人間の断片を切り取り、人生を深い視点で捉えるヒューマンドラマというコンセプトのシリーズ。 作：早坂暁、主演：吉永小百合、音楽：武満徹で、映画化や舞台化もされ、舞台では他の女優たちにより、主人公・夢千代が演じられている。 夢千代日記 ：1981年2月15日 - 3月15日放送、全5話 続 夢千代日記：1982年1月17日 - 2月14日放送、全5話 新 夢千代日記：1984年1月15日 - 3月18日放送、全10話 物語の舞台は兵庫県美方郡温泉町（現：新温泉町）で、同町の湯村温泉はこのドラマ放送後、「夢千代の里」として一躍脚光を浴びた。現在、温泉街の中心部である荒湯のそばに吉永小百合をモデルにした「夢千代の像」が建てられている。また平成16年11月に資料館「夢千代館」がオープンし、館内には湯里銀座や煙草屋旅館内部などが再現されている。物語中で芸者たちが度々舞う「貝殻節」は山陰地方でのみ知られる民謡だったが、このドラマで一躍全国的な知名度を得た。 (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
