This Iranian series follows characters who travel back in time using special effects done during filming. The story was shot in historical locations and built sets to recreate past scenes. It aired in two seasons on Iranian television.

مسافر زمان یک مجموعه تلویزیونی ایرانی به کارگردانی مسعود نوابی، نویسندگی سیدرضا حسینی «فاطمه خدامی»، «کیانوش اسلامی» و تهیهکنندگی «داود اجاقلو» میباشد که در سال ۱۳۸۲ از شبکه دو سیما پخش شده است. سری دوم آن نیز در سال ۱۳۸۷ ساخته و پخش شد. جلوههای ویژه در این سریال از اهمیت ویژهای برخوردار بود و برای رفت و برگشت آدمها به زمان گذشته از این گونه تروکاژها که عمدتا هنگام تصویربرداری صورت می گیرد ، استفاده شده است. تصویربرداری این سریال در شهرک سینمایی غزالی و شهرستانهای نائین و نطنز صورت گرفته و برای برخی از صحنهها که بازسازی نیاز داشته است، دکورهای لازم ساخته شده است.
