What happens
《조명하》는 한국방송공사 1TV 특집드라마이다. 조명하는 황해도에서 태어나 21세에 군청서기 시험에 합격하지만 심한 갈등을 겪는다. 자신이 결국 일본의 종임을 깨닫고 일본에 가서 메리야스 공장, 기공소를 전전하며 일본의 실체를 파악한다. 상해 임시정부로 찾아가 독립운동을 할 기회를 잡으려고 대만에 간 조명하는 상해로 갈 날을 기다리다가 구니노미야 육군대장이 자신이 머무르던 대중시에 온다는 소식을 듣고 독 묻은 칼을 들고 그를 찌른다. 그의 배후를 찾기 위해 혈안이 된 일본경찰은 그가 단독범임을 알고 5개월만에 사형집행을 한다.
