Kryddsíld er viðtalsþáttur sem sendur er út á Sýn (áður Stöð 2) um hver áramót (gamlársdag) og er í umsjón fréttastofu stöðvarinnar. Í þáttinn mæta stjórnmálamenn saman og svara spurningum fréttamanns stöðvarinnar. Yfirleitt er þátturinn á fremur léttum nótum þar sem farið er yfir helstu hitamál stjórnmálanna á liðnu ári. Þátturinn hóf göngu sína á útvarpsstöðinni Bylgjunni áramótin 1990 en frá 1991 var hann sendur út í sjónvarpinu. Árið 2008 varð að ljúka útsendingu vegna aðgerða mótmælenda, sem t.d. brenndu sundur kapal sem lá frá útsendingarbíl inn á Hótel Borg. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
