What happens
Star Wreck -elokuvasarjan kahdeksas osa on tuotannossa. Alanimikettä ei ole vielä ilmoitettu. 20. elokuuta 2015 elokuvan tuotannosta vastaavat Tuotantoyhtiö Energia ja Troll VFX ilmoitti elokuvan olevan tekeillä. Elokuvan ohjaa Jussi Lehtiniemi, joka vastasi Iron Skyn visuaalisesta ilmeestä. Elokuva sijoittuu tulevaisuuden Neuvostoliittoon, jossa ydinvoimaa on alettu käyttää kaikissa mahdollisissa koneissa, niin ruohonleikkureissa kuin viljapuimureissakin. Ennen varsinaista elokuvaa julkaistaan lyhytelokuva Timecrash, joka johdattelee katsojat tähän uuteen maailmaan. Lyhytelokuvan kuvaukset aloitetaan viimeistään vuoden 2016 aikana.
