How it feels
This Greek TV series was a popular social drama that aired in the early 1980s. It follows the lives and conflicts of its characters and was the most watched show of its season. The series was cut short after two seasons due to political reasons.

What happens
Η κραυγή των λύκων ήταν το όνομα κοινωνικής σειράς που προβαλλόταν στον τηλεοπτικό σταθμό ΥΕΝΕΔ και ήταν το δημοφιλέστερο τηλεοπτικό πρόγραμμα κατά την σεζόν 1980-1981. Προβλήθηκε έγχρωμη και γνώρισε μεγάλη απήχηση στο ευρύ κοινό. Ήταν η τελευταία δουλειά του Νίκου Φώσκολου για την κρατική τηλεόραση, πριν από τη Λάμψη που ξεκίνησε, έντεκα χρόνια μετά, το 1991 στον ΑΝΤ1 και αποτέλεσε τη μακροβιότερη ελληνική τηλεοπτική σειρά, καθότι προβαλλόταν ανελλιπώς μέχρι το 2005. Η σειρά αποτελείται από 2 κύκλους επεισοδίων. Ο πρώτος έχει 28 επεισόδια, ενώ ο δεύτερος μόνο 11 επεισόδια, καθώς η τότε νεοσύστατη κυβέρνηση του ΠΑΣΟΚ αποφάσισε να διακόψει οριστικά την σειρά για πολιτικούς λόγους, ενώ η Κραυγή των λύκων αποτέλεσε την τελευταία τηλεοπτική σειρά της ΥΕΝΕΔ, η οποία τα επόμενα δύο χρόνια, έπαψε να είναι υπό την ευθύνη του στρατού, και μετονομάστηκε σε ΕΡΤ2.
