The series is adapted from the novel Brotherly Love and Sisterly Respect (兄友妹恭) by Po Nao Dai, with a screenplay is co-written by Chu Liya, Shen Liying, and He Yan. The story follows the professional and romantic reunion of two childhood sweethearts who find themselves working together at a local cinema years after a bitter family conflict.
