This 1908 silent short film is about a Native American man who makes a deal to sell his daughter to an outlaw. Her mother tells her what happened and she sends a note to her cowboy sweetheart. The cowboy and the girl fight back, but the sheriff gets involved. After a year passes, the couple is married and showing off their baby.

The Squawman's Daughter è un cortometraggio muto del 1908 diretto da Francis Boggs. Il marito di un'indiana firma un contratto per vendere la sua bella figlia a un desperado, incurante della madre che fa rimostranze. Il desperado tenta di catturare la ragazza, ma la madre interferisce, raccontandole della transazione di cui è stata oggetto. La giovane manda un biglietto al suo innamorato, un cowboy.
