What happens
Frisco King is an upcoming American crime comedy drama television series created by Taylor Sheridan for Paramount+. A spinoff of the series Tulsa King, it stars Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a New York mob hitman who, after refusing an order to kill Dwight "The General" Manfredi, relocates to the Dallas–Fort Worth suburb of Frisco, Texas, to build his own criminal enterprise. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios and is set within Sheridan's expanding Tulsa King universe. Frisco King was ordered to series by Paramount+ in February 2026, after being developed under the working title NOLA King before its setting and title were changed to North Texas–based Frisco King. The first season will consist of eight episodes written solely by Sheridan. Principal photography began in March 2026 in North Texas, including Fort Worth and surrounding suburbs. The series is scheduled to stream exclusively on Paramount+. (from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA)
